There is more to life than just
sewing and quilting!

I love to have blooming flowers around but hate
to do yard work, this is my low maintenance
back yard and garden. I can see it from my studio.
I find it very relaxing and inspirational to have
beautiful things to look at while quilting.

I had a beautiful azalea but this year it died, sob,  My technique is, plant it, water it when I remember, and if
it lives it gets to come in the house
in the fall and go back out in the
spring. Told you I wasn't a gardener,
I just appreciate beautiful plants.

It was a cold and snowy winter here
This was the view out of my studio!

Virginia Blue bells in my rock garden,
they spread like wild fire.
More time for quilting less time planting new flowers!

Grape Hyacinths at the base of the Pin Oak..
They come up all over the yard after the squirrels move them around all winter.

Planted the winter Clematis at the beginning
 of May last year
and it looked like this in just 2 months.

At the beginning of this spring the winter Clematis
looks a little straggly but wait until July!

This is my rock garden that we have perennials planted.
I never claimed to be a master gardener.
Just want it to look pretty and colorful
